Formula Woman Newsletter - 11th November

It is a year now since we launched the Formula Woman expression of interest website and since then you have helped us build and develop an amazing Formula Woman Community across 28 countries. Although the McLaren Customer Racing competition entry process is now closed, we are planning future events and opportunities for 2022 and beyond.

TRACK DAYS

We can’t seem to offer enough track days for you and so far they have been a huge success. There are two spaces available (due to a cancellation) at Donington on the 4th December.

Other track days will be available throughout November and December for all those who are keen to keep learning.

We tested One 2 One personal coaching yesterday at Castle Combe, and this was a huge success so we may run some more leading up to Christmas.

INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENTS

We have had some positive and encouraging results back from some of the overseas assessments and although some of these have still to be organized and concluded, it’s clear that there are some talented drivers out there, not just in the UK.

If you are still waiting for your assessment date and venue, please contact; Edward@f1.co.uk.

INDIA ASSESSMENTS

The India assessment dates are fast closing on us now (23rd/24th November) and a lot of media attention has been created by our partners Auto Guru in Mumbai.
We are expecting good results from India as we know that the standard of driving from women in India is high!

COMPETITION RESULTS

After the final assessment day on the 7th December our team will be working hard to select the drivers who will go through to the next and final round. This will be based on your assessment results and like any competition there will be winners and losers.

The selection process will be very time consuming and TV footage will also be examined to ensure we select the best competitors to go through. Formula Woman is a serious competition and the TV element is secondary.

We intend to have the results concluded by Christmas so that we can put everyone out of their misery.

The next Final round is expected to take place mid January over two days, venue to be announced with results.

ICE DRIVING IN SWEDEN

We can now confirm that our sister company, F1.co.uk, will be operating an ice driving package in 2022 at The Ski resort of Are in Northern Sweden in the last week of February/first week of March.

This event is open to Formula Woman members and their partners, friends and family. The ski resort is first class with excellent facilities. The ice driving and snowmobile safari is over two days.

We have had a lot of interest and if you would like to receive a PDF brochure please contact eve@f1.co.uk.

And Finally…what about this for the perfect Christmas present…..

As you probably read in last weeks’ newsletter, we have entered in to a partnership with Stirling ECO electric bikes…. Well guess what…
They are going to do a special edition and discounted Formula Woman version. For full details contact; tom@f1.co.uk
