Formula Woman Newsletter - 17th March

This is our first newsletter since the winners of the 2021/22 competition were announced.

Soon after landing back from Sweden they all headed off to Donington Park to join in with the GT Cup test day and familiarise themselves with the team and the championship.

We will be keeping you up to date with their progress, and of course please feel free to support them throughout the year.

GT CUP TEST DAY

The 2022 Formula Woman six winners met with their new team DTO Motorsport on Tuesday to try out the McLaren GT4 for size. All four winners were present, Anushriya Gulati from India, Sara Misir from Jamaica, Erika Hoffman from Canada and Jodie Sloss from Scotland. Also attending were the two reserve test drivers from England Amy Riley and Steph Sore.

They were all interviewed by GT Cup TV as well as Greenlight TV and were introduced to sponsors before heading off to I Zone at Silverstone for simulator training in the afternoon.

Extensive testing starts in a weeks time prior to the opening GT Cup round at Donington on the 9th/10th April.

FAST TRACK FOR FINALISTS – 2023

Registration closing date for the 55 finalists from this year’s competition is Thursday 31st March, so far 28 Formula Woman finalists have registered which is great news.

As we have always said, everyone who made this year’s final were there due to their natural driving ability and everyone in this year’s final deserves a second chance.
