Formula Woman Newsletter - 15th July 2022
This week's newsletter includes important information on the 2023 Formula Woman Competition plus we have a new Social Media Campaign where you can win prizes!
But first…. What a race at Oulton Park last Saturday for our four GT Cup Trade Centre McLaren Ladies….
GT CUP OULTON PARK
After only four races (Snetterton) the girls are now trading lap times with the boys and in both pit stop races they were running midfield in class and they were RACING. These four racers were all novices at the start of the season, it won’t be long before their novice crosses come off on both cars and surely we can now head for podium finishes?
SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN - YOU COULD WIN A PRIZE!
The Formula Woman Community is growing rapidly, and we have noticed that many of you are integrating with each other as well as promoting yourselves as past, present and future Formula Women.
It seems that every applicant is on one or more social media platforms, so we have come up with a few ideas for you.
Promote yourself as a Formula Woman through your own Social media.
Use the main Formula Woman hashtags #formulawomanracing #formulawoman so we can also engage with you, and don’t forget to tag us so we can reshare Create, Engage and show your personality!
We have launched our new Formula Woman caps and are about to expand the merchandise range further, so we thought we should come up with a few rewards….. including a free track day coaching session for the top social media engagements this month.
Winners will be announced in the first August newsletter. For more info contact

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
If you haven’t already, please let us know your nearest race or kart track so that we can try to arrange your assessment day in November. We will also negotiate some discounted training slots with your nearest circuit should you wish to undertake additional coaching.
The final shoot-outs will be held in the UK at the end of November, so if any applicant prefers to do their assessment in the UK, please let us know so that we can accommodate you.
Last year the finals were held too late which didn’t give us sufficient time for training.
Details of the schedule and of course, the 2023 prize are still being finalised.

BOOT TOUR AND FORTHCOMING TRACK DAYS
Next week we conduct our first boot tour, so watch out for next week's newsletter to see how the 16 ‘newbie’ drivers got on.
Due to the demand for the following;
Introductory Course
One to One Training
Boot Tour
DTO Experience Days
We have to take a deposit of £150 to secure your place between now and the start of the assessments. The reason being is that we have more Formula Woman applicants than we have events.
The deposit will ensure you secure one of the above places. We have had to turn quite a few enthusiastic ladies away so the deposit will guarantee you a slot on one of the August/Sept/Oct training days. (UK only)
