The Formula Woman Team are very busy at the moment organising lots of wonderful events and also the all important assessments, not just here in the UK, but also across the world.

So this weeks newsletter is full of all sorts of information and also the launch of the new Groups Online Portal.

KNOCKHILL ASSESSMENT DAY MONDAY 1ST NOVEMBER

Final instructions have now been emailed out to those of you who were invited and accepted a place on this Assessment Day.

There are 2 forms for you to complete and bring with you to Knockhill. There is also an online form for you to fill in and send back. We must receive this online form back on or before next Monday 18th October.

If you have not received these instructions, please check your spam box before you contact mark@f1.co.uk.

INDIA NEWS

Welcome packs have been despatched to Auto Guru, so please be patient as shipping and customs clearance globally are causing a few delays.

The good news is that the India assessments have now been confirmed for 23rd and 24th November at Vadodara (Baroda). Further details are available from shamoyl@autoguru.in or Shloka@f1.co.uk

INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS

We are currently finalising assessment days with suitable locations across the globe and in some cases, finding dates to suit every competitor, who of course are in different locations, which can be challenging.

Edward is heading up this challenge and will be in contact with all applicants outside Europe and India in due course. You can find out more by contacting Edward@f1.co.uk or Johanna@f1.co.uk.

PRE-ASSESSMENT TRACK DAYS

Anyone still looking for one of the BMW/Jaguar Project 8 training days will be pleased to know that there will be some more dates available in November.

However, please note that Sam has now left Formula Woman and these track days are now run by Lucy, so if you need to make sure you are on the waiting list, please contact lucy@f1.co.uk.

I-ZONE SIMULATOR DAYS – THURSDAY 4TH NOVEMBER

The simulator days have proved so popular, we have organised another one for the 4th November. Ed has now handed the booking of iZone days to Lucy, so please contact lucy@f1.co.uk if you are interested in taking one of the 9 places available.

KARTING DAY

Many of our UK competitors have asked if they can form teams to compete in an endurance karting event.

We think this is a great idea and we are about to confirm a date at one of the best kart tracks in the UK! As Lucy has recently joined our team, we are keeping her very busy, so she will be the point of contact for this karting extravaganza!

At this point just register your interest with her and by the end of the week we should be able to email you with the final details, including date, cost and venue. lucy@f1.co.uk.

HEALTH & FITNESS

After Anglesey, it was clear to our health and fitness team (Evy, Sabine and Claire) that quite a few applicants were needing some guidance. Our health team are as follows;

Evy – fitness and work out programmes - evy@f1.co.uk
Claire – Nutrition and fitness - cj@thenakedwarrior.co.uk
Sabine – Mind Coach - sabine.tyrvainen@gmail.com

These three ladies are experts in their own field and each have their own area of expertise and business. If you are concerned about your levels before or after the assessment please don’t hesitate to contact them on their own email address’s (above).

ONLINE PORTAL - GROUPS

We're really excited to announce the introduction of Groups into our learning portal system! These groups will allow you to connect with your fellow competitors, share memories, photos and stories along your Formula Woman journey.

You may have noticed that you have been added to the 'Official Formula Woman Applicants' group over the last few days. If you haven't already, make sure you join! This is the primary group that we will be using to share any news, messages and official imagery with you all.

Feel free to chat with your fellow members in here, or create your own group! Formula Woman contact – abbie@f1.co.uk
