Formula Woman Newsletter - 7th July 2021

British Grand Prix

Due to travel restrictions from overseas, four Formula WomanCompetitors have had to cancel their Formula Woman Hospitality event on Friday 16th July at Silverstone. At the time of this newsletter being produced we have four places. If you are in the UK and are interested in joining 36 other competitors for a great day out contact mark@f1.co.uk.

Simulator Days

Again due to travel restrictions from overseas there is one slot available on the 23rd July for the full day simulator experience at Silverstone contact edward@f1.co.uk.

Assessments

These dates are now confirmed as follows:

  • 19th September Anglesey (Track Day available for partners or friends)

  • 20th September Anglesey (Track Day available for partners or friends)

  • 1st November Knockhill

  • 15th November Bedford Autodrome

  • 16th November Bedford Autodrome (Overseas competitor priority)

If you haven’t booked your assessment day yet, please contact mark@f1.co.uk. All competitors who have not booked in will be allocated an assessment day by Formula Woman after 1st August.

There will be five tests at each assessment, more details to follow in due course.

We will be sending you disclaimer forms and TV release forms soon. These are standard forms which everyone must sign prior to arrival at their assessment day. Both are to confirm that you are consenting to the activities and also allowing your name and fame for media exposure.

Contacts and Questions

Remember, if you have any questions DON’T respond to this email, simply go to the website click on contact and you will see our team’s individual email address’s with what they are responsible for. You should receive a response within 24 hours.

CarFest North & South

Formula Woman will be present at CarFest where we will be announcing the chosen car for the UK assessments.

CarFest North is at Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire and CarFest South is at Laverstock Park in Hampshire. So if you’re not attending CarFest watch out on social media on the 23rd July!

Overseas Applicants

Formula Woman applicants are present in 21 different countries around the world with a strong presence in North America and India. We will be contacting all overseas applicants individually, to let you know how, where and when your assessment will take place.

Personal Sponsors

We have had a lot of questions about sponsorship and just to be clear, those who have secured a personal sponsor, you will be allowed one logo in a prominent position for your assessment day. In August you will be requested to email your sponsors logo or name so that we can reproduce and apply accordingly.

There is nothing wrong with you attracting multiple personal sponsors, this is ideal to cover your pre-assessment activities such as Daytona karting, Series Elite track days and iZone Simulator days. £1000 sponsorship would buy you a lot of track time!

One of our partners Lush Creative Conception produce all our presentation and advertising material and they have offered their services to Formula Woman applicants that wish to have a sponsor deck professionally produced. Should be regarded as an investment and it’s not as expensive as you think.

If you need advice or our recently created sponsor guidelines contact shloka@f1.co.uk.
