CarFest North

CAR FEST NORTH
23rd – 25th July
More tickets available!

Formula Woman are expecting to make an important announcement at CarFest North on 23rd July. We will be revealing the new assessment car and also displaying a McLaren GT4 race car, and a Jaguar Project 8 training car.

For any Formula Woman competitors planning to attend, there are some tickets still available for CarFest North. We will be there all three days and look forward to meeting you if you can make it . For ticket availability; www.carfest.org.

Indian joins the race

Formula Woman with Auto Guru, will operate an assessment day in India for India applicants where huge interest is starting to develop. This follows a similar arrangement being developed in North America with the Skip Barber Racing School organisation.

Assessments are likely to commence throughout October and November in both regions. www.formulawoman.com.

Track Days

Samantha Sims has taken over organising the forthcoming track days which will commence in August and carry through into September, for those who wish to have some professional pre-assessment day tuition.

We will be using our Jaguar Project 8 race cars, which are about as close as you can get in terms of power to a McLaren GT4 race car.

The instruction will be one to one with V Box data to highlight your performance. We will have morning sessions and afternoon sessions and limited to 4 participants per session.

What is included:
Track Hire
Fuel
Tyres
Instructor
Data Engineer
Insurance
Garage
Mechanic
Transportation of car and use of car
Refreshments

Normally the cost of this would be £950 but Formula Woman is subsidising these sessions at £450 + Vat. Some of you will use your own personal sponsors to cover the cost but we recommend a session will be invaluable to all those who are enthusiastic and want to learn as well as prepare for your assessment.

To provisionally book a track day; Samantha@f1.co.uk.

British Grand Prix

For those of you joining us at the British GP, Silverstone have been a bit slow releasing tickets, by the time you read this weekly newsletter, you should have had your e-tickets, although VIP car parking tickets can not be emailed, so there is likely to be a collection point allocated at this late stage.

However the car parking is Car Park 26 which will be sign posted. For reference, Car Park 26 is on the outside of Copse Corner at Silverstone. You will then walk to Brooklands Suites which is on the inside of the circuit (Via Tunnel or pedestrian bridges).

If you have booked your places and still have not received your e-tickets please contact; mark@f1.co.uk.

Karting & Simulator Days

We can reveal that the assessment days will include a karting test, so we recommend you try to get some practice. There are still some places at Daytona Milton Keynes on Wednesday evening 4th August.

iZone at Silverstone has been very popular, so we have laid on another date which is Thursday 19th August.

Both Karting and iZone can be booked with; Edward@f1.co.uk.

Overseas Applicants

India have just launched a social media campaign and applicants from India will undertake their assessments in India.

North America – applicants will soon be advised on their assessments and discretionary training programme mainly Canada and USA. FormulaWoman will be making an announcement soon.

Other countries out of Europe – an email has been sent to all other countries with guidelines and where the assessments will take place.

Your contact is Johanna@f1.co.uk.
